One World Kyrgyzstan: Award „Best direction“

The UN Human Rights Council awarded the prize “For the best direction” to the director of the documentary THE TREE WORKERS CASE at the VII International Festival of Documentary Films on Human Rights "Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan 2013" (One World Kyrgyzstan 2013). THE TREE WORKERS CASE was scheduled to be screened at the festival on Sunday, 22 September, 2013 at 4:00 pm.

The international film review on migration and borders - Border Review - invited the documentary THE TREE WORKERS CASE to be screened on May 11, 2013, 1 pm, at Kino Kultura in Warsaw.

WorldMediaFestival: Intermedia-globe SILVER

Hamburg, May 15, 2013: The WorldMediaFestival 2013, global competition for modern media, selected the documentary for the award intermedia-globe SILVER.

SPOTLIGHT Award at Vietnamese International Film Festival California

The ViFF in Irvine, CA, April 4-7 and April 11-14, 2013, selected THE TREE WORKERS CASE for the SPOTLIGHT Award. The film is scheduled to be screened at the Festival on Sunday 4/14/13 4:00 pm, followed by the ceremony.

DVD for rental and public screening

The documentary is now available on DVD for non commercial screenings and rental, suitable for educational institutions. In German and English.

The documentary will be broadcasted on the Austrian TV channel ORF III on Monday, 12 of November 2012, at 21.55. German.

Festival in Warsaw

16 - 18 October 2012 --
The documentary will be shown at the International Film Festival on Human Trafficking in Warsaw from 16 - 18 October and is selected for the main contest. The Film Festival is organized by the Polish Ministry of Interior, the European Union and the non-governmental-organization La Strada.

Premiere in Prague

21 September 2012 --
INTER/AKTION and La Strada Czech Republic are organizing the premiere of the documentary THE TREE WORKERS CASE in the American Center of the US-Embassy on the 21th of September 2012.
There will be a moderated post-screening discussion with Czech and international experts.
